my first game i saved all the lil sistas i could and we got away in the end.. i was afraid to some what become a big boy. i thought it was some trick and id really become 1.. man they are so cool and to use the hypnosis on them. they are hulking and the effects and graphics in the game are some of the best ive seen yet.. i cant remember if we have a flash light in the game.. i finished and started and at the beginning of my second game. but then i got fallout 3. it has sucked up all my time since.. and i cant record bioshock with my zd recorder. thats a bummer. i have another version of zd it is a all around recorder and desktop recorder..

Image

if i could play bioshock in window mode. and then figure out how to use my mouse on my normal desk top out side of bioshock i could maybe record it.. i can play in window mode.but i cant get my mouse out side of the game to do what ever from my desktop. im not sure if its some special key i have to hit or what.. but it would make some great videos.. i think others with fraps or maybe xfire can record it.. but i cant record cod4 or gta vc either with this recorder.. its just these few games i have problems with.im not sure why.. i think it has to do with the codec system or what ever the proper words are.. like direct show or something..

Image

i love this game bioshock and will play it more soon.. its just i have so much to learn and do with fallout3 it will take months to master and then id still learn new stuff.. bioshock is lovely and great but its not nothing as complicated as fallout3.. both great games as with farcry2. i need to record my fear platinum too. the new fear is out soon..

Image

these outboard motor drones are a trip. i walk around all day making that noise they make. kind of like a weed eater. its just too cool..

have fun see ya :D :9:

This game was off the hook when it first came out. Awesome graphics and gameplay. All the cool, strange bad guys, and those little motorboat/ helicopter things. And the gun turrets, but you can hack those and then they will be on your side. But you gotta search every dead body and all the stuff laying around for coins to buy things you need from the different vending machines.

And play all the tape recordings that you find, it tells the story behind Rapture. I love the Dentist office, and the Doctor's office, and the Hospital. Weeeee, gonna check in there for a physical! Lost of places to explore, great puzzles. Plays so smooth with all the settings turned all the way up.

First time thru I "harvested" all the Little Sisters, then I heard about the alternate ending, so I played it again. Actually have played it about 5 times, it's still a very cool game. Nice thing about Steam is the game already has the latest patch when you download it, if the game's been out a while. Chris.

There have been a few games that I like so much that when I start to play them, I just can't put it down for hours. This is one of them. Some of the others were Republic Commando, Frontlines: Fuel of War, Mass Effect, and Far Cry 2.

I'm one of those wimps that, if I continue to get stuck in a game, level after level, I get frustrated and give it up. I want to have fun playing a game, not have to work hard at it juts to keep playing. But that's just me. :P Chris.

ive been playing this on donor.. i have not worked on my fatality yet.. im using nvid drivers 182.06 and precision 4. im glad precision works my bfg 7800 gtoc. its smoking but runs fine. i up fan speed to 67%.. my case heat probs says it runs up to 146f.. its pretty hot i think. but i do not want to push the fan on this old vid card. as long as it runs right its not to hot and the card can handle temps up wards of 180f or better so. my 8800 runs bio a few f less hot at same fan speeds.. at about 142f.

oh ya. i have general settings on high for dynamic lighting etc..but lowered player skins and textures to medium. or it will lag a bit.. it still looks pretty good. it do look and run better on frankality tho :D

this photo is from my second game.. i killed the lil sistas this game.. i started playing again a 3rd game saving them. and upped to medium skill settings.. ha ha its not easy..i guess hard is crazy hard.. its a cool game.. short but cool.. just when it really gets good it ends.. id like to be big daddy longer and play a few more levels.. oh well.. :aikido:

it took me half a game of bioshock and maybe 60 videos to get my vids and sound as best i can.. i started a new game and set for medium skill. its just easy mode makes for faster play while recording. and anything over easy makes it hard to protect the lil sistas at the end of the game. but big daddys are more fun to fight on harder skill levels..

Image

progression.. my first vids was made on my kn8 and using xfire.. last vids was made here on my fatality using fraps and virtualdub.. sound was bad while recording or end movies. so.i upgraded my sound drivers realtek r223 all is good now.. and im not using virtualdub any more. now im using free " any video converter 2.7.2.0 " man its sweet for a free program.. you get the lil pop ups prompting to buy but thats not bad.. it works great. and has tons of options and idiot proof presets too.. all game settings on high. fraps at 30fps and half size..i learned fraps or bio locks its in game fps to what i set fraps at. so 30fps gives me smooth game play and makes nice vids too.a nd cut scenes in bio run at 30fps any way..

Image

using any video converter. i have it set for mpeg4/2- mp3 64bit- and set vid frame rate from program defaults of 768 to 1500. man i think my new vids are clean and sweet and sound is tweaked out good too.. i can live with my vids now.. im sad i have to convert them all after playing using fraps.. zdsoft is done when i stop playing.. but its only a few games i have to use fraps with and i have to record bioshock its a great game and bioshock 2 will be out soon enough..

progression- sound and video play back quality.. um if you guys notice at the botton right of the youtube player is a button HQ press that and much better play back vid quality.. if it drags stops playing just pause it for a minute or so. so it can download some.. if it will not kick into hq mode stop the vid and then hit hq or move the slider back to the start of the vid and hq should start.. its a lil buggy. but when it works the vids are not bad at all-im glad youtube is doing better with play back quailty..

bad recording sound [fine while just playing]. and using fraps and virtualdub [great free program]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08LljuHr ... annel_page

better sound updated sound drivers to r223 out a few weeks ago. using fraps and virtualdub and mp3 58bit

best vid and sound quality i can manage. new sound drivers. using fraps and free "any video converter 2.7.2.0"
