LEFT 4 DEAD

It looks great. It's Mosty MP only, but 4 man teams. You and 3 buds

against hordes of Zombies!! I've read some about the SP game in it

and from what I gather it's you and Bots doing the same thing you would

in Muliplayer, sorta?

That'd be FUN  MP or SP

Here's a shot of a TEAM, even got a BABE on the 'ol TEAM!! Yee Haa!!

So if we could get a few of us to get this game, I'd Love to try it, MP, 4 Man Teams ( one Babe, LOL!!)

Left 4 Dead a Must get game if your a Zombie Loving Guy, like me

Left 4 Dead Review

GS Review 8.5 :: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/left4dead/review.html
User Score 9.0

Left 4 Dead makes both sides of the zombie apocalypse a thrill to experience, as long as you're not alone.

The Good: Dynamic enemy placement make each play-through different Tight controls and well-tuned guns Stiff challenge makes survival difficult and thrilling Versus mode expertly turns the tables Killing survivors is as fun as killing zombies (if not more so). The Bad: Campaign is less fun when played alone Only four campaign maps.
The zombie apocalypse. Be honest: You've thought about it. When most humans have been turned into shambling, flesh-hungry monsters, how will you fare? Whether you fancy yourself an intrepid survivor or an infected savage, Left 4 Dead is the game for you. Battling your way through the grim, desolate world is always tense and challenging, thanks to the unpredictable, relentless enemies. It's equally thrilling to play as one of the zombies (aka the infected), coordinating deadly ambushes as you try to kill the survivors. Nevertheless, Left 4 Dead's well-crafted gameplay simply must be experienced in multiplayer. Human teammates (or enemies) make each play-through dynamic, mitigating the game's two hang-ups: limited map selection and uninspired friendly AI. Despite these hitches, Left 4 Dead is a remarkably fun, excitingly tense game that will make you want to revisit the apocalypse again and again.

Hmmm, sound s Good!!

Re: LEFT 4 DEAD, NOBODY HAS IT...?

Postby BlueMonster » Fri Dec 12, 2008 1:50 am

Wonder why nobody seeems have this game? I think it'd be a h00t!!

But Steam wants what 50 bucks for it, (OUCH!) and AFAIK, Steam Games can't be pirated,

that I know of, perhaps that's the issue, LOL!!  Just Joking!!

Same thing with Team Fortress 2, it's a freaking COOL a$$ game, but nobody plays it...hmmmm

Maybe just my imagination?

Team Fortress Complete is 24 buck I know. (includes TF2 as well!!)

Great game in my opinion!

I had it for a few weeks now and it's great fun... when I actually have time to play.

Here's some actual screenshots I took:

Those doesn't really show what it is like being assaulted by a horde of running zombies though... you have to play it to know. ;)

Cheers! 8-)

Nice screens Dostov. :!: I'm interested in this one as well. They say the single player is short, how short is it? I also read that even though it's short it's could fro multiple replays because of the AI. Nice to get somefeedback from someone who actually has the game. :)

Cool Dostov!!

Yeah Smoken Joe has it as well, don't know where he is as of late? Miss his posting though as I do

many others. Anyway back to Left 4 Dead, I think the Single player mode/game is pretty straight forward

go through maps kill all Zombies, or no? What I mean, is there a Story in the SP game? :?: ;)

50 bucks is a lot of Clams for any game, is it worth that? I know some games are worth every penny.

FC2, FO3, Dead Space, BioShock many other "A list" titles. Hell Bioshock is now 20 bucks everywhere and

one of the VERY best games ever made, IMHO. Having said that, I'm really liking what I see and read about

Left 4 Dead, but this PC Gamer will have to wait for a price drop, LOL!!

It'll come down in like 3-4 months, IMO.

Well, to answer both your posts guys:

SP is pretty short. I didn't have time to sit and play it through in a single evening, but I guess one could do that in less than 5 hours at a correct difficulty level. There's only 5 (or is it 4) maps, each divided in 4 (or is it 5) levels with a check point at the end... as you can see, I haven't been playing much lately, can't even remember correctly. :?

The game is really multiplayer-based, and I haven't had time to get bored of it yet, but I haven't had much more than 2-3 hours/week to play as of lately. I guess hardcore gamers may find it redundant quickly.

Is it worth 50$? Well, shooting running zombies is priceless! I've been waiting on such a game for over a year now and was totally pleased with it! With that said, I really don't think it's worth 50$ because of the lack of maps and levels. 30$ would be a much better price point for this game.

Still, if you want to shoot zombies, it is a game that will let you do just that in an unprecedented way! 8-)

Cheer! :)

dostov~

Boy I hate it when a Game of this caliber gets crap for a SP Campaign :!:

The SP game should have been like HL2 sorta, HL2 had some awesome Zoomies!! IMO.

Had they done a SP game with like 20 Levels, whatever and a Story it would really rock!!

I'm sure I'd like the short SP game in Left 4 Dead, mindless as it is, Love my ZOMBIE games!!

Loved all the Zombie action in HL2 :D

Image

Just wish Valve would have done it like HL2 did !! :o

Blue

Oh well can't win thin them all, Left 4 Dead, MP looks GREAT though!!

I got the game 2 days ago. "It's insane" describes it best. I'm a little too trigger-happy though, and end up killing my team-mates, sometimes when there aren't any infected around
