ya dead space is cool- ive been playing it a lot.. im at chapter 7 now and just got schematics for the level 4 suit..

the keys are not that bad- takes some getting use too and fighting in 3rd person view- but i like this game a lot more than mass effect.. my lil ds dude looks cool in his suit.. some of the monsters move fast too-- both my suit and pulse rifle are fully upgraded with the nodes..

i had to go back to a save-- i started spending all my money and forgot i had the level 4 suit schematics.. ya dead space is pretty- runs like a top too.. and the few babes are right phat..

finished this early this morning- its a cool game- at end i went clear game- started over with 50k credits 10 nodes and can get the lev 6 suit.. i just started the new game- have not got to a store yet to get my new suit.. so- i will play ds again with new suit..

any way- i just went and cleaned up my bud dans system twister- now i have bioshock2 to install.. i will try and patch it etc. i just hope it dont mind my 2 gig mem kit- i dont feel like installing and testing all day my 4 gig mem kit.. so we will see..

3rd Person games can be great fun, Gears of War is Great BTW, also I keep saying BIA:HH is one of the best, but nobody plays it, a shame.

Wonder when DS 2 will come out, a Great 3rd person Shooter coming is Mafia 2, the first one at the time was mind blowing in the GFX dept, again nobody played it.

I did!! I really want it, and Just Cause 2, hope it's not buggy like JC1 was. Just Cause is excellent GFX wise too, like Crysis, at least the scenery, tropics Island.

Dark Void is cool but hard, no harder that DS though, DS I thought was tough, well a couple missions were anyhow. I love that Floating in Space Action.

I wish Shattered Horizon had a SP game to it as it's awesome IMHO. Crysis 2 is on the way too, I'm sure FR3 is coming as well. I'd like to get Star Wars, Force Unpleased,

but hear you need a GPtp play it, Damn Consoles!! It is on PC though, I guess it didn't go over to great on the consoles either. Wish they'd do Perfect Dark: Zero for the PC!!

Really like that game, on the consoles (PS3) it got a Editors Choice Award from GS!!



Talk about fine Babes in a Game!! PD beats out Blood Ryane 2, to bad BR2 sux so hard. The controls again! SUCK!! 4 the PC!!

Once you get it down, the games a Blast I think, I finished it and deleted it, not sure if I have the save game folder or

where it is for that matter? The GAME deserves a 10 for Stability in my BOOK, it RUNS flawless!! I love that GFX In House Engine too.

Looks like OpenGL IMHO. OpenGl games run on MACS too usually, if they bother PORTING to MAC? Like Q3 etc run on MACS, or I should say have a MAC version.

OpenGL doesn't really need DX anything, it's all built in. I read that somewhere so I very well could be wrong. I had a Zillion Screens I deleted of the game, sometimes

I wonder why I take so many, I only use about 10 or so usually for posting the rest I delete, Image files @ 1920X1080 are HUGE!! Too!!

I hope they come out with DEAD SPACE II, I'd also like to see the new game run in FP view or 3rd, I think that should be an option in all 3rd person gamees.

The Best thing about 3rd Person View IMO, is seeing yourself play, in reality it uses more resources to run a game in 3rd Person view as the game must render the Whole player

not just the GUN. Read that too.

Honestly I'm getting pretty used to 3rd Person Gaming, and like it when done right, as long as they allow you to run a standard adjustable FPS key board lay out.

Still hate Game pads!! If I had to use one I like the PS2 Game pads the Best. The 360 is backwards IMO.

Well, Steam had this one on sale this weekend for $6.80, so I went ahead and got it. Lots to read thru here about tips and tricks. I'm sure I'll get stuck, a lot. Can't wait to see how it looks on this GTX470 card!

Its not a complicated game chris.

First thing to worry about is picking up all you can to sell for upgrades- and or buy new weapons and upgrade them. I cant remember- maybe you just get points after completing missions is what you buy stuff with. It has been so long now and only played it 1x.

The key binds are not bad like I had thought they was from reading. Its a pretty great game really. The weapons are a lil odd and you can not jump. But I can not remember now its only like 6 guns total. I would pick maybe 3 you like most to upgrade. You will never be able to fully upgrade your suit and all weapons too. I read nothing on play through etc. I got through it just fine.

So first tought is keeping your suit upgraded then what few weapons you like most. Your second game carries over all your gear from first game and gives ya an upgrade to a new suit- but it is white and look's un man like- I will say no more. I did not want to play after I got the white suit- sorry I am not a star wars storm trooper what ever, or in the snow. So I would not ware a white suit in battle in real life- I can not in the game- Ha ha pink either- Ha ha it was hard for me to play fo3 the pit in the slave out fit looking weak or un man like- maybe a jesus freak or something. I pushed my self and got other stuff to ware..

Dont sweat it man- just play it- you will like it- its pretty too.. Ya I seen that steam sale - I read ds2 is pretty great- mp parts get mixed reviews- id guess it will not be so great. But the sp game is said pretty sweet and get different armor's and weapons etc. I think I read you get more or more options or something like that..

Um, the game ran like a top for me in xp, not 1 glitch or prob- unlike mass effect..

As a fact I think I might install it again. Play it on my wide screen. A change up. Sounds like fun. Yep, Im going to install it now..

Na I changed up again. Im going to finish up these fo3 dlcs first. I am near done with point outlook and only have the space ship zeta left to play. I can go back to main game any time and finish side missions what ever.

Its just I do not want to defrag 4x going game to game etc. So I will get to ds in the next few days or a week. Dead space should look awesome on my high res wide screen..

I do not think the game has ever been patched- I hope it works with w7. Its what 3 years old now. Id guess it will - you are trying to install and play it so..

I'm trying to get the CE version of the game, but the game shop owner that I usually buy from says he's not sure that he'd be able to have stock of it, the vanilla version's not a problem though.

Dead Space 1 installed fine and runs great. Folks talk about mouse issues, but as soon as I set the screen to 1920x1080, the mouse was fine. Before that was like molasses. Not too hard so far. Just got to a crazy malfunctioning door and can't equip the second item (sheesh, forgot what it's called, damn CRS) to slow the door. So I'm stuck already. Could make for a long game, n00b that I am. Oh, yah, the save method really sucks. But I'm finding lots of goodies. Just gotta look everywhere. Back later!
