Alien Swarm for UT2004 free!

Postby Mr. Chris » Sun Jul 18, 2010 4:56 pm

Steam has this add on this weekend for free. Not sure but the demo's I watched looked pretty fun. Yes, I still have UT 2004. Used to have a blast with No Guts and Blue. Maybe worth reinstalling UT2004? Seems like it's only co-op tho.

Did you give it full authorization to access the web through the firewall?

So this is a stand alone game, I thought it was mod for UT2004?

NVM, figured it out. It's a cool little stand alone game. Not sure where I read it was a mod for UT2004.

Chris,

this used to be an unreal tourney mod, Valve took the team in and has now re-released it for free on steam. Or at least so the story goes ;)
You beat me to posting this as well, was planning to it this weekend! damn you evil man damn you! :p

the only thing so far that bugs me about this game is the few levels, of course it's free, but I was hoping for a bit more swarming, heh, I hope future maps remain free though, but they could charge like a buck 50 (thats the correct term you yanks use isn't it? buck?) for extra maps etc.

Wait, whose user name has "evil" in it here?

Yeah, we use the term "bucks" but now it's "Obama Bucks"
