RESIDENT EVIL 5

Always wanted to play the new ports to PC of Resident Evil 5, Got this game from a good Friend :9:

It looks kinda like Fallout3 GFX, kinda. But the cut scenes are BITCHEN in this game, now I want to try the RE4 port they (Capcom) did a lot of work to get it

ported to PC as well as RE5. I have to play in wuss mode in these (should use a game pad games), as I don't have a 360 Controller for my PC yet.

Besides in Wuss Mode it's made to give you more time to search all the nooks and Crannies of the game world, it's back to Africa I go, last visit was Far Cry 2 :mrgreen:

I gotta say I really, really like this game, it has a kinda large learning curve for me, as I never played the first games on the PS/PS2, I had it for the PS2, but could never get into it.

Now it's and Action and RPGish, 3rd Person Shooter and, you guessed it, ZOMBIES, Love my Zombies!! Just saw Zombieland on the tube, my HSI provider kicks me down a free good flick

now and then, I've been with them for 8 or 9 years!! RE5 is rather clunky movement wise, they could have spent a little more time in that department. Like you have to stop and look

in your Inventory like Stalker before you change stuff out. Game Spot gave it on the PC an 8.5 pretty High score, and it shows. ;) Tons of Blood and Guts too, but hey have a Parental lock if you have

kids, LOL!!! I can play this game for hours at a time. Still not get bored with it!! :yahoo: You can find it on line cheap too, like Amazon. maybe 15 or so bucks. You'll need a GFWL account to play, BTW.

Game Spot Link:: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/resid ... lt;title;2

Googled:: http://www.google.com/search?client=fir ... gle+Search (tailer and well

everything you can think of)

Here's the real BOX::

Image

Couple Quick shots, oh you play with a side kick a Babe called Sheva, I play Chris (yep Chris your the Star in this game!! :Bananas:

You get to give her commands like go hunt Zombies, come back stuff like that, but man the AI is AWESOME!! So is Sheva!! :9: Oh and it runs in FULL DX10!!

Runs Butter Smooth @1920X1080dpi, 16X AA everything absolutely MAXED OUT!! I turn off Motion Blur though, I don't care for it myself. It prolly get a solid 80FPS on my PC.

Never stutters at all, Capcom does a Great job with it or their DEV team. Kinda looks like Dark Void too. Not the UT3 Engine however. In house.

RE5 really Rocks, has great story, very High Quality Game, I'm close to the end, If you like 3rd Person shooters done well, with steller GFX, RE5 fits the bill!! :9:

You really got to play it to understand what I mean, it has some tough areas, but the game makes it capable to kill all BOSSES without Pulling out your HAIR!! :D

Guns galore, you can carry 9 if you want, but then you have not slots for ammo in your inventory, I use as my first GUN, the Best most upgades applied, it's a killer shotgun, my second is the Best Sniper

rifle in the game, Love it, the game is like real combat as you have to stop to reload, you can't be running and reloading at the same time. Some may think this is frustrating I think it makes

the game more Realistic and Panic mode sets in, oh and the DNA T Virus, Monsters, OMG!! Freaking GREAT JOB on them!! I run it @ 1920x1080 HD with everything maxed out 16X AA etc, just

looks Gorgeous. It has a bit of key smashing, but now I'm getting used to it. It works fine with a K&M too. You will be managing Inventory for yourself (Chris) and your Partner, Sheva, both have 9 slots

you can switch stuff between each other also, The you have your OVER flow Inventory, stuff you want to keep, like Proximity Bombs, Incendiary Grenades, ACID, Explosive AMMO, I use in shot 3, a Grenade Launcher

totally cool, you can level up any gun, and make it killer. You collect Gems, and Gold coin for Money, Artifacts etc. Plus you can sell anything you have, oh and get yourself an Melee Vest, and Bullet Proof vest.

I ware both but let Sheva just ware the Melee vest, as the Bullet proof vest covers her Cleavage!! LOL!! :yahoo: The Facial GFX are like the Best I've seen, Batman Arkham Asylum is great too.

Sheve I give her a Stun gun, she studs them and I blast them, up close combat, or you always can use your Big ASS Knife. Not counted in Inventory, you'll be busting crates too, and ya never know what you'll get!!

A lot of time I have to make room in my IN. for stuff so I give it to Sheva. I also give her a Awesome Pistol, fully upgraded with a laser Sight etc. Plus a Kick ASS MG!! She uses her Electric stun Prong thingy the most

unless thing get Hairy as they always do. She pack the meds too. And I have her carry extra Ammo for me as well. I'l be getting RE6, it will be coming this game is rated HIGH, by players mostlty, critics all give it

a 80%-90% Gamers give it tens a lot. It's a long game for me as I've never played ant Resident Evil game, well way back I tried the first one on my PS2, the new games are WORLDS apart. One of those games that gets

me hooked BIG time :swoon: Tons of Action, Great Story, Great GFX, It's got it all. If your good with a Gamepad, 360 controller may be easier? Though IMO, it's just right!! Oh BTW, Iyou can pull up a map anytime

that has a way point, I use it to find areas I may have missed, Otherwise the Hud is just your Health and Ammo count for you and Sheva, if you just let it be, in a few minutes it all goes away, I guess for screenshots?

You get a key to that finds Sheva for you, in case you loose sight of her, she dies, you die and vise versus. Sheva will keep you alive as best she can. So by GOD protect her at all costs!! Excellent AI too. I'm going to delete

my screenshots soon, but will post a couple here and there. Just to get an idea of the game.

Tons of Coll Ass Locales :9:

There are so many Awesome shots I took, Full DX10 Game, butter Smooth!!

Like I said, if you like 3rd Person games, don't pass on RE5!! Best out of the Series!! ;)

This Mass Effect1,2, Batman AA, and Velvet Assassin, oh also Dark Void rocks as well!!

Blue

Can't wait for RE6!! Yee Haaaaaaaaaaaa!!

This is a PIC of Zombie Bikers Duck Shot, LOL!! I added a bit of blood, he he!!
Image

I guess RE6 will be a Total reboot of the Series all done like RE5, I think? Hope so!!

Hey, with a name like Chris, it can't be too bad (just wish I looked like the main character 8-) )

I forget which Resident Evil game it was I tried a long time ago on a Playstation, it was just really clunky. Didn't get into it. I may check this one out. Some of the first screens you posted kinda remind me of Dark Sector, the docks anyways.
1)Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, Phenom II 970, 8Gb G Skill Sniper 1866, EVGA GTX470SC, 2x 500Gb SATA II RAID 0, Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit RTM
2) AX78, Phenom 9500, 2Gb OCZ PC6400, EVGA 9800GTX+, CDRW, XP Pro SP2
3) AX78, Phenom 9600, 2Gb OZC PC6400, EVGA 9800GTX, CDRW/DVD, CM CP600PCAR 600W, XP Pro Sp2

If you're not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room

Yeah Chris~

Don't waste your time with any of them but RE5, it's Keyboard and Mouse Friendly :mrgreen: Really Awesome FUN game.

It is kinda like dark sector as well, but you'll LOVE having Sheva to Boss around :D Plus she's cute as a Button!! ;)

Yeah the main character is CHRIS, and BOY is the game detailed in the GFX department. Not to hard to play, puzzles are easy enough not to be frustrating

it is a bit clunky in that you'll have to stop move to relad and you have to put your gun away to run away!! Sounds like it would suck, but nope, it's really a cool game

play it on Normal, oh also the difficulty adjusts as you play, if you suck, it gets easier, if your really GOOD, it'll get harder. Working with your Inventory is kinda cool I think,

takes a bit of time to get used too though. I'm in Chapter 6-1 now. Have a GANG of Stuff, the Sniper Rifles are Bitchen in this game, I love sniping Zombies.

watching their heads explode, sometime they get back up, you just never know. I think you'd enjoy it if you try it and stick with it, it'll get ya addicted fast!!

Image

Great FUN!! :9: BTW, the reason the cross hair isn't right on his melon, is cuz the Sniper Rifle moves, a bit as it would it real life, plus I had to hit the screen capture key ;)

Not to Mention this guy was about 200 yards away...

Blue

On my back here, is my NEW Jack Hammer Shotgun!! Love this Baby!!

Just seen some videos of this it looks awesome. Said the only thing you might not like is you can not move and shoot at the same time or in areas of play from a vehicle you might not see your sites very good. Never played a game you have to stand still to shoot- have had some suck sites tho.

The game and fx and world and boss' seem cool as hell tho- Zombie have weapons hoot hoot! Can co op or be the hot babe and a few skins or clothing for both. 3rd view but look like fun :D :9:

Me new dtop->
