Quick saves might be fine- but in this or any game- I might use both or just the hard save- press esc then save. It is even written in the fo3 tweak guide it can be glitcy and is best to make multi saves or the most safe is always the hard save- Esc then save.

Also in fo games or I have seen in nv is you can lose stuff- or your companions can lose stuff. Spawning through doors and going to other parts of the map or the casinos they take your weapons- when you leve they give them back- sometimes you do not get it all back or your companions might not get something back. Any special weapons you find like easter eggs etc- I do not give them to my companions- they might lose them. I only give them what I want and can stand to lose- but is all good stuff and fully repaired etc. But maybe if going certain places you lower all your gear over all the groups inventory so less chance to bug and lose stuff- you can always go back and forth to your main base or house etc.

It is a good idea anytime you have to re spawn anyplace- check all of your groups inventory- the less stuff less to look at or miss- you get the idea.. It is good to save before you go to re spawn any place or through doors etc. So you see something missing just go back to the last save and do it again or just leave and go home and drop off some stuff in a safe place- then go back.. Just know is all..

It is best to hard save in all of your games it is more safe- or for games that have saves and not check points..

I do not know that all fo3 mods are hard to install- I have read some are and they say in the read me you need those extra programs. Some said more simple you can just move them into a folder and into the main game program. I am not sure why they can not be made exe like say a dlc add on or something- a mod. Or just moved into the 1 simple folder..

Again it is confusing- I am not sure what is or not needed and is why I never tried- it might piss me off or have to re install my game or something- just the thought of it is enough for me to pass- I would love to play some of the mods. I do not know if all that other junk is just fluff because folks think it is to hard to move a file manually or what. That chit is complicated to me.. I would rather move file for file one at a time then install 3 chits I know not 1 thing about and just to mod my game- its crazy and the game not worth all that crap- and might be more bug also- so..

I thought the geck is for that [comes with the game- mod tools to create maps or something]- why cant it just make the mods into a simple exe install and it just work- because they want to make mods and charge ya for the dlc- maybe.. So maybe including geck it is 3 or 4 programs you really have to use to install mods- not talking about making them- just install them-- man thats sick.. Stupid over the top hard..

Ya playing both fo3 or nv straight up is fine with me- in no hurry can last for ever- is enough new all the time and or start a new character or sex or be good or bad etc. They are cool games- not perfect but are great all the same.. I have all of the dlc's for fo3- I like them all- some better than others- just more fo3. I would like to get at least a few of the nv dlc's and maybe get some dlc's for my dead island game- 1 is out now and should be least 2 more for di- just wait until cost less or get them all for like 5 bucks..

I think syrim will be cool- but ya said a new engine- looks pretty much the same to me- odd character and animal movements- same more washed out looking world and sky etc- skins and stuff pretty much all look oblivion or fo3/nv. It is said better and I guess some gui changes will be in the next fo game. I think skyrim will be close enough to fo games I might like it- just more melee and instead of flame throwers I shoot spells out of my hand and yell- instead of a gun I have a bow or crossbow maybe- pretty much same same only one a modern type world the other old world. I would never spend my cash on it now- I would wait until a few patches and maybe a few dlc's- then get it all cheap- hard to lose then and cheap games do not hurt so much if bug or do not like them etc..

I read and know playing black jack is the most easy to make lots of caps- but you need your luck skills at 7 or more high through special. I have talked about it..

You can win lots of caps in that game card game made just for nv called caravan.. I have been trying to learn it- reading and the vids do not help and when I try and do it in game some cards do not move or it jams up or something. If some1 was sitting here and I think you can play it with real cards showed me how to play it- I can do it- or maybe just keep trying until I figure it out- but again you need 7 luck or better or is a waste of time and caps- you will lose more than you win.. Unless you have 7 luck or more.

If you learn caravan you can play with near every bot in the game and take all their caps even store tenders with the deep pockets..

Ya I read rage has probs and was a poor port and a let down and graphics and draw distance what ever came set for what only a console can do and they gave no options or much for pc graphics- most all game makers do it and most all of them got its start making pc games- they go multi plat form or ports pc games suck in general and tho some are better ports than others.

Stop making said high end computers or hard ware or video cards or windows os- they will drop pc gaming the same day and is the only reason they keep it going at all. It is all hype and not as good as advertised- the game surely are not and since the console like push started about 5 years ago. Many are on record saying they hate pc and like to see it go under and make only xbox and games for consoles- it shows to.. Microsoft is one and other game makers and or ps/sony also.. Pc gamers do not hold the industry to the same standards as other products or services or even other gaming media like consoles. They know they can give pc players junk and they will buy it and take it and make excuses for it- And will buy again. It Stupid..

Most all of them jerk around pc players- crysis 2 was made a dx11 game from the start and hyped and stated as so- come release consoles can not play dx11 so they shorted pc players just for the hell of it until many complained and or sales was a lil soft- just the thought of it or if came out on consoles first is enough I will wait until its 20 bucks or less on steam with all dlc's or it is a gift- just for the point of it. People pre order and get junk - it sucks..

Ha ha windows and nvidia and sm3 and farcry and pc gamers made crytek famous- then they slap us in the face like that- and is the attitude of all of them- they treat pc gamers as pure suckers any more..

I got all the dlc's for this nv game and the 1 for dead island yesterday for less than 30 bucks at the steams holiday sale..

Oh ya played some dead island co op on steam- it was easy to join and play.. Fun stuff

Now just waiting for good hdd prices.

Just for the heck of it- every time I see that guy in the photo in the last post out in the wastes- I am going to run up behind him and kick him in the ass and when he turns around Slap the chit out of him- might shoot him if he does not hold his mouth right

Been busy with my buds pc- cleaning re install w7 etc. I did not play yesterday. I played the first 2 dlc's on old world blues now- think I like owb best so far- it is crazy. Lonesome road last and still have over half the main game to play- me more less leving up in the dlc's- and getting more cool gear.

I will post some screens and vids laters..

Just finished all the dlc's- the last 2 you can go back- cool.

I have all sorts of gear and stuff now.
