Aliens vs. Predator (2010) New!!

Vitals::

Aliens vs. Predator (2010) :D

* Sega
* Rebellion
* Sci-Fi First-Person...
* Release: Feb 16, 2010 »

Play all three types, Marine, Predator or Alien

I have all the A v P games made for the PC and love them all my favorite being

Aliens vs Predator 2, and it's expansion pack I have as well, Primal Hunt, from

Monolith, Lithtech Engine, excellent Game, one of my favorites.

=============================

The new offering from SEGA looks awesome and I can't wait for it's release in February

next Month, if all goes well. As an Alien you can use your tail to smack the snot outta

anything, plus if you get it right, you can use your sets of teeth.

As Predator you'll have Cloaking, and real cool vision and Strange Gadgets of Death.

Last but not least the Marine. Just like the movie. Great fun, three Games in one, plus CO-OP

and MP.

Below are the System Specs!! Also other info...

========================

Is your PC ready for Aliens vs. Predator?

Official PC specs released by Sega for the upcoming Aliens vs. Predator video game

Mark Fujii

If you are planning on grabbing Aliens vs Predator for PC when the game launches on February 16, 2010, you better make sure your gaming rig is up to snuff by checking out the official specs below supplied by Sega.

The minimum specs are incredibly low, but keep in mind those pieces were considered “good” close to five years ago. Instead, turn your attention to the recommended specs, which are still completely reasonable.

If you’ve been even mildly interested in playing video games on PC over the last few years, your processor and graphics card should easily meet the requirement. 2 gigabytes of RAM is pretty standard nowadays too, meaning that even if you bought your PC at Best Buy sometime recently, you should be good to go.

Aliens vs. Predator is being developed by Rebellion Games, the team behind the 1999 PC classic Aliens versus Predator (note the abbreviation. Key difference.)

Like the movies and comic books of the same name, Alien vs. Predators will pit the murderous, agile Aliens, the technologically advanced Predators and the heavily armed Colonial Marines against one another in an inter-species war. Each race will have their own single player campaign, and a multiplayer mode is also planned as well.

While the movie series Aliens vs Predator has been almost universally recognized as being terrible (the first and second film have an accumulative Metacritic rating of 29%), their video game counterparts have usually fared substantially better. The 1999 Aliens versus Predator received a 8/10 by IGN, and Aliens versus Predator 2 currently holds a Metacritic score of 85%.

Aliens vs Predator is set to be released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 16, 2010 in North America and February 19, 2010 in Europe.

Minimum Requirements:
Windows 7/ XP/Vista 1 GB System RAM (XP)/ 2 GB System RAM (Vista) 3.2 GHz Intel Pentium 4/Athlon 64 3000+ or equivalent processor DirectX 9.0c compliant video card with 128 MB RAM (NVIDIA 6600 or better, ATI X1600 or better)

Recommended Requirements:
Windows 7/ XP/Vista Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or equivalent processor 2 GB System RAM DirectX 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB RAM (NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI HD2900 PRO or better)

Our Take

Rebellion has been on a cold steak with some truly terrible video games (like the disastrous Shellshock 2 and Rogue Warrior) but let’s hope they can redeem themselves with Aliens vs Predator. The last one for PC was amazing--we can only pray that they can somehow pull out of this slump and deliver a quality product.

I'll make it easy :9:

Image

Here's a PIC of the Free Game I got with it, Universe at War::

Image

It pays to Recycle. :D

It's not developed by Rebellion though, and Steam hates DX10 with the game, so I run it in DX9c.

Image

SEGA is just the Publisher. Rebellion did the First AvP in 2000.

Cool Scavy~

I'll download it first thing Saturday Morning. It's 3am here, time to TURN IN, LOL!! :D

Think I'll try a Mod for Clear Sky too. Which one do you suggest?

Thanks :mrgreen:

Blue

Man AVP 2010 has pretty low requirements, except for the CPU, it's DX9.0c too. So it'll run great, I bet.

Image

Also METRO 2033 is on Steam with a Free Copy of RFG, Man that's one SWEET DEAL!!

I love Metro 2033, it looks much better than Stalker, IMHO....

One of the guys from the Steam Forums (that I "gifted" L4D2 to) wants me to buy this one and gift it to him. Seems in Australia they want $62 USD for this game! :shock: And 3 days later than in the US. So I'll make a few $$$ and send him the game. Sux that Steam is that way but oh well.
1)Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, Phenom II 970, 8Gb G Skill Sniper 1866, EVGA GTX470SC, 2x 500Gb SATA II RAID 0, Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit RTM
2) AX78, Phenom 9500, 2Gb OCZ PC6400, EVGA 9800GTX+, CDRW, XP Pro SP2
3) AX78, Phenom 9600, 2Gb OZC PC6400, EVGA 9800GTX, CDRW/DVD, CM CP600PCAR 600W, XP Pro Sp2

If you're not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room

Well Chris and Everyone~

The DEMO is for MP only, that's ok, I knew something was odd the file was onlt a bit over a GIG, that's MP for ya. :D

It shows the start of the game, which we've all seen, but I found out a little about the Video CP in the Game, (vid options)

Simple but all ya need, however this may just be MP CP?? Don't know? I wouldn't download it unless your a MP fan, Scavy may

be into the MP game, I'm in it for the SP Champaign myself, THREE SP games in one!! Love that action :mrgreen:

I think it's going to be a sweet game. Here's a couple shots, from the DEMO, one is from the Starting trailer the other is the AVP CP for

video FX.

Image

Image

By all means try it if your a MP kinda guy!! Post about it, I'd like to hear what folks think. :9:

I'm usually Blue3d Scavy~

So did you like it? Are you going to play MP when it's released? I didn't know it has no CO OP, or does it in the final release?

No matter, I used to be Blue3d, but my GFWL account is all messed up, they said my name is taken, Duh, by me!! But they

say my password and name don't match or some lame ass Bullshit. :D That's why I hate GFWL, All I should have to do is give

them my email and password, plus a Screen name, one time and they should keep it in their archives, and match it up with

my email when I want to play on line. All I see is a Bunch of X Box Crap. I must be doing something wrong. Got me? :?:

Then there's the "Who is going to update the games, Steam or GFWL? Conflicts there, I think. I don't know, I do know it pisses me off.

Blue

Maybe I'll see if I can play, no hurry though. ;) Whatever. I did register as Blue3d when Vista came along. Stupid MS, get it together :shock: :banghead:
