EVGA 8800GTX with the Arctic cooling Accelero Xtreme 8800VGA cooler installed and the stock cooler next to it.





since the last 2 months have been real bad to me cash wise. and now i am short for my property tax for this yr. i need to sell this great card which i was going to sell then when my 285 went bad it showed me it wasnt ready to leave me. but now i have no choice in the natter i need to sell it. and i am thinking of adding my back up key board a merc stealth which is still brand new in the box and has never been removed from it either.

i know i for got my name tag in the pictures but that is my big claw and my big xxxxl corepad mouse pad im not to sure how many people would buy those. even though i want to buy another 1 right now mine worn out lol. but back to topic. the gfx cards will come as shown with the after market cooler installed and i will not separate them either. to much of a hassle in doing so. beside that cooler is the best around! i want one for my 285 when they come out in the US and if i can pay for it after i get my property taxes paid that is.

im going to post it in craigs list and start out at $200 maybe $225 +ship and see how the 1st wk goes. but i really don't want to go no lower then $200 since im short more then that over all. but im working on more stuff to add to sell yet. got other things to do yet beside this , dam insurance!! i hate dealing with them

Funny I love those Core-pads too, but I've had my 14" X18" X Track Ripper for like 4 years now, and it's still going strong.

Long post huh, well I'm getting used to Firefox, learning more and more every day!! Love it!!

ah just now using FF uh? Ive been a long time user for many yrs now. IE only for windblows update. but i love the spell checker in FF best thing that happen for me i even got the advance weather plug for it as well, so i can tell whats going on with my weather all the time. no need to open a new tab or anything. i just pan down or put the pointer over the radar box and poof i can see what the Doppler is doing . and it is accue weather and not weather channel garbage.

back to topic, yeah i really don't want to get rid of it at all its been tried and true for these yrs now. and with this cooler on it it stays cold no matter what the temp is in my room. i paid around $650 for mine when i got mine since thats when they 1st came out lol. but yeah i would like to keep it around for a spare in case anything happens like it did just last wk.since when the tech guys goes well could you try this or this, ill go well i stuck my old card in and it works with no problem but your card it does nothing but black screen.

so when this sell i wont be able to do that. or if i happen to find a cheap 939 AMD mobo with ddr400 ram type i wouldn't be able to build it into my new back up rig either. since that was going to be just that. since that 8800GTX was ran so dam well and has played so many games i could do that but after all of this. i now have no choice but to sell it.

well i have the stock cooler is all clean up, the fan blades i went threw them all. and then i went threw the fan blade on the cooler on the gfx card it self to. clean all the fine dust off of it to so it looks nice clean. it only took a few minute to do that any ways since i do that every month as it is.

well i ecowoker just had me install it in there system today. they had 2 fxf 9600 cso 768mb in sli. and he has had but nothing but trouble since he got it. he has been messing with ever since he got it to. and i have been trying to help him from time to time to. but last night i told him that i was selling the 8800gtx. so i get a call today. well after cleaning up his rig. which need it bad and since he put this together him self.

he had 1 fan on backwards to boot. which point at the cpu which is why it ran so warm/hot . well he also told me that after getting his system to work in sli for once for the 1st time in over the last few months. it stopped working again. so he came over after cleaning the cables up and shoe horning it in.

got it all working for him and rivatuner working and the tweak auto fan setting going for him as well. and before that the gfx card sat at 42C with stock auto setting and went up to 54C whne i ran furmark on it with it set to the over clock i use on it. 648 core/1516shader/1003memory his q6600 is still stock yet no OC yet. i dont know 680i and from what i saw in it from disabling the C1E function and turning off the realtech HD audio off. no wonder he had troubles with it since he has a sound card as well.

well it sure runs good now for him i even set up some over clock in riva for him as well. and save them for him to. sold for what i was asking as well. wish i didnt though but oh well property taxs need it more then i do..

yep got $200 for it and all the other work i did to his pc include so i guess he got a combo deal from as well. like i told him i really didnt want to sell it though. i still wanted to keep it since it still is a rock solid gfx card yet. beside it kick his junk twinn 9600 tho lol
