Yep, that's Mikey's basement. Good thing he's got a direct tie in to the neighboring nuclear power plant. :lol: Chris.

Wouldn't using an all wood design like that be a fire hazard? :?:

Here's a couple of my current system:

Of course that last one is from the cooling system that is in the basement. I take for granted you read about it over at Abit Forums. If not, head over here as I transfered the worklog before Abit Forums went down. --> http://www.theraptorpit.com/forum/index ... topic=2963

Cheers! :)

Antec Nine Hundred Case

Postby BlueMonster » Wed Dec 17, 2008 7:59 pm

Antec Nine Hundred Case

Love this Case!! From Antec!!

==================

Ultimate gamer case? Just maybe. With a partially perforated package that still finds room for four huge yet quiet fans, you have a seriously cool gaming case, and that's no joke. You expect the Antec Nine Hundred to be ready for lift off, especially with the 200mm TriCool exhaust fan and perforated port atop this stylish case. You can even mount a 120mm fan on the side panel! Contrary to some expectations, this case is very quiet, unless you have all the fans going at their highest settings, at which point you might hear . . . something.

The 5.25" bays will hold optical drives, burners, or even (gasp!) your aging floppy drive, and up to six 3.5" drives can be installed in cages behind the fans, and these can be arranged along the front any way you like. This case provides a plethora of possibilities, and room to explore placement of all the pieces. The PSU, in a departure, is at the bottom of the case, for better case stability and thermal environment for the CPU.

The side window into the case, in addition to letting you show things off, provides additional ventilation, either by way of the vented screen, or by the fourth fan in the box, mounted into clear plastic, for a clear and elegant mounting. This is a sturdy case built of steel, with enough cooling technology to keep things frosty in the hottest action. Take one home today and build yourself the "coolest" rig around!

=====================

Yep, it's a Beauty!! :mrgreen:

BTW DOSTOV Sweet PIC's of Your RIG!! I have the same PSU, but the 750. Awesome PSU's IMHO.

I have four of those cases. With all the fans running you can walk into the back room not hear them running. If you put your hand in front of the case you can feel the cool air running pass your hand. The two fans in front pull out and that is where the hard drives install too. Antec I think makes a 1100 that is just a little bigger. I will not own any other case they are the best. You know that the PSU is at the bottom of the case.

Well guys, my case isn't near as cool as yours, but it's better than my old 2001 Gateway 500X computer (P4-2.4Ghz)...which btw still works.

If you are wondering the company that made this case is Coolermaster, but it was modified by ABS.
It's a fairly big mid-tower case. I've since modified & added more fans in it to allow for more air throughput. (6 case fans)
The Zalman fan I bypassed the speed control I just direct plugged in the CPU fan header so it's running at 100% all the time.
At first it had a whine to it, but since seems to have quieted down & now all you hear is the air going through it.
The speed control I'm using to control the front 120mm Slipstream intake fan which runs at 1600 rpm otherwise.
If it's really quite it sounds a bit noisy, but while gaming you don't hear it which is what I do 3/4 of the time anyways.
